Tone-deaf – a short, short story

For me, exam time is cramming time. I need absolute peace to concentrate. My neighbours have different ideas. Every Friday they gather on their terrace and put on a ‘musical show’. The event starts around nine in the night. All the folks in the building would pull up chairs and arrange themselves in a circle. There would be food and soft drinks in a corner.
In the centre of this circle, a husband and wife would be standing singing songs. It is difficult to judge who is worse, the husband or the wife.
The problem compounded by the fact that the audience not only claps and encourages them but at times demands encores!
If I do not do well in my exams, you know who to blame!
